Details. It is fundamental not to overlook them: think of your young nephew's peanut allergy or grandpa in his wheelchair facing two flights of stairs to get to the party. Taking care of the small things which may hinder the smooth flow of a party will be the topic of a future article; today however, let's talk about one detail which adds to, improves, enhances the experience of hosting: table decoration!
Have a look at the photos of our different collections and see how the simple addition of cacti (Mexico, mi corazon!), green moss in original vases (Girls' Night In), a patch of greenery (Picnic), or cute bowls filled with colored candy (Pastel Chic) brings the table to life. No need to go crazy either; in general, a little goes a long way, as they say. (Who those mysterious They are might also be the subject of a future article. If They let us...) A few well-chosen items cleverly laid out will do a great job. Think of a fine line of eyeliner which brings out the sparkle of the eyes.
We wish to give a warm thank you to the team at Vertuose (peruse their website!) who graciously provided all the plants, flowers and vases for our collections' photoshoots. They are passionate and creative, and Benoit Godin, the owner, is simply awesome! With its unique concept and on demand plant arrangements, Vertuose never ceased to make heads turn since opening on St-Laurent boulevard in the Mile-End. Vertuose offer floral arrangements and maintenance services of all kinds, whether it be for private residences or commercial businesses.
