Hygge, which is pronounced a bit like “huggah,” is the Danish art of living which emphasizes the appreciation of the present moment and of small things, as well as the atmospheres and ambiance which contribute to our well-being. (For our part, the simple act of eating Danish pastries fills us with gratitude.)
