Five occasions to celebrate at home

Five occasions to celebrate at home

September 29th, 2016,

Feeling like hosting, but uncertain about the occasion? Here are five suggestions:

  1. The first one is the simplest: you don't need an occasion! Invite your guests to celebrate the celebration itself. If we always had to wait for something special to have fun, we would all be way too sad.
  2. An anniversary other than a birthday: your cat's new toy, your sixth month at your new job or your first year of yoga practice. Let's celebrate the steps we take and congratulate ourselves for the journey so far!
  3. Invite your best friends and trade clothes! You are a man and your best friend is Scottish or of the opposite sex? At last, you'll know the freedom of wearing open ended garments!
  4. No, October does not mean summer is over (I refuse!). Armed with our Picnic Collection, fluorescent cocktails sporting tiny parasols and beach music, celebrate the hot season all year long!
  5. Time Travel: gather your photo albums, invite your friends to bring theirs and take a leap into the past! (Ask your parents to come and showcase pictures of you as a kid: laughs and embarrassment guaranteed).
